The National Comedy Center is a dedicated museum for all things comedy that opened up in 2018 in Jamestown, NY. I was tasked with designing a few of the murals and consulting on some of the other exhibits and displays.
Below are selections from the mural "History of an Art Form," a 15-foot wide display that greets museum guests as they enter and sets the tone for the experience. As a completed piece, all of the diamond "pods" interlock with supporting imagery to tell the history of comedy from Aristophanes to YouTube.
I still haven't been able to make it to Jamestown to visit, so if you're planning a trip, send me some pictures!
